Water in the West hosts workshops, dialogues and other events, bringing together leaders, professionals, stakeholders and academic experts in the fields of water research and water management to inform and examine pressing western water issues. These events are an opportunity for those in the public, private and academic sectors to learn more about water challenges in the west and gain insights into potential solutions.

Stanford University’s Water in the West and School of Earth, Energy and Environmental Sciences, and the University of California, Davis co-hosted an Uncommon Dialogue on groundwater quality under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.

Water in the West, the University of Victoria, Foundry Spatial, The Nature Conservancy, and the Environmental Defense Fund are co-hosted a workshop entitled, "Tools and Methods for Assessing Groundwater-Surface Water Connectivity under SGMA”. The full-day workshop will took place on March 12, 2018 at Stanford University.
